Michael is best known for setting numerous records in swimming for Team Jamaica, as well as being a well-established and successful athlete for Team GB over his competitive career.
He gained global attention when he came out as gay on the award-winning series 'The Bi Life' by NBC Universal on E! Channel.
With his sights still set firmly on qualifying for the Olympic Games in Tokyo next year, his efforts in training with the British team have been seen on Sky Sports, BBC and Channel 4.
Michael is also a regular pundit and avid speaker for sport, as well as a Stonewall Sports Ambassador and advocate speaker for LGBT rights.
