About the Event

As we take the first steps into a world without social distancing - how will our mental health deal with the change back to normal. For many of us, lockdown has been a chance to re-evaluate our lives whilst also feeling the loss of intimacy, friends, family and socialising. So how do we navigate our return - what lessons have we learned, how can we prepare for reimmersion and where can we find the strength to do it? The gay and bisexual men of Fundamental can't wait to give their guide to Getting Out.

This is a fun informal session open to everyone but led by gay and bisexual men - a very British “Queer Eye” for our mental health in these turbulent times.

Our men will be talking through key areas that challenge us in 2021:

The benefits (and nightmares) of lockdown - how can we grow and do life better after our pandemic experiences. Resilience, accepting the past and moving on. Health, fitness and body issues as we emerge from the boxset world of our sofas. Diet and nutrition as the pubs and restaurants beckon us out. Getting back to work and dealing with a new employment and economic landscape. Dating for real again.
